I know by now, that you have played the beta for Battlefield 3. And I also know, that there has been a LOT of complaints about bugs in it. This is my FIRST Battlefield game to play….EVER. Never touch the Bad Company series, and I generally don’t like playing on the computer. So, to my relief, BF3 is going to release on the console version. And, I finally get the feel of the MP play.
I want to start off by saying, WOW! I have never experience a MP like that. I played on PS3, so I had the Metro map. To me that was huuugggggeeee! I won’t exaggerate and say that I walked miles and didn’t see anybody, but it was pretty big that you can get lost in. Me, playing COD and Killzone 3 MP, I haven’t recognize a map that big. Ok, maybe you can argue some killzone maps, but generally no. That Metro map was freakin’ awesome! Sorry if I’m sounding like a pre-school kid, but that’s what it was. I felt like I was playing the actual storyline game.
I wasn’t use to the control scheme, so for the first two or so games I was playing, I was just basically only using the trigger button. If you are use to COD control scheme’s, it may take you awhile to get acquainted to the game. The gun section was good. I think I will use Support more than the others, but it depends on the situation I’m put on I suppose.
The graphics was good. I’m no graphics dude, but I like it. It had some “War-vibe” That never gotten from any Call of Duty games. You have more people and MORE time than COD. Don’t expect a quick 5-9 minute game. Try 30 minutes. But, me playing Killzone will be use to this.
The only issue I have, is finding your enemies. In COD, you know who is the enemy and friend; In Killzone 3, you know who’s the enemy unless they are using the infiltrator. In this game, it took me a longer time to see who was the enemy and who was foe. I was killed a boat load of times before it click to me on who was friend and who was enemy. There were some other bugs in the game that was expressed by others, but I never notice them. The other negative part was the snipers flashers. That was annoying. It’s especially annoying when your own teammates are the one’s who is doing it to you(Resulting in your own death). Other than that, the beta was good. But, I’m quite sure you can surf around the net to see what others were complaining about.
All-in-all, the beta did what it was suppose to do. Yes, they still need to fix some things in it, but it’s definitely not a deal breaker for me. I got to play it and see why so many people like the game. It’s making it’s way on the shelf October, 25 on PS3, Xbox 360, Windows and iOS. Make sure your the one in line to get it!!!
