So, I have finally played Ghost and I have to say I’m a little impressed. I haven’t gotten far in the single player yet, just started but from the looks of it, it’s pretty good.
Story wise, it’s alright. I don’t know fully what is the main goal, but I have a good indication of it. They start you off with this weird “Urban Legend” that is passed down from soldier to soldier about the Ghost origins. To me, it’s just another name for Black Ops…Tomato tomata…It starts off like every other COD game. Nice and festive, then BOOM, the action takes place. Then, there’s the little background, then back to the present.
The controls is the same as the other COD’s, so no worries about that. In this one, you actually get control of a dog! How cool is that? Lol Now, the graphics, it’s a little upgrade from Black Ops 2. There’s some improvement, but not much. Like I have stated in the past, Graphics isn’t a deal breaker for me; Gameplay and story is. If it doesn’t have a good story(I’m looking at you Modern Warfare series!) then it’s a meh.
Okay, I know what all of you really want to know….The multiplayer. Now, I have only played 2 matches so far, so I really can’t give a full review on this. My first impressions on it, it’s that it is real good. FINALLY, they bring back big maps. But, I can tell you that I’m going to hate this one map with a railroad in it. Big maps have their plus and minuses about them. Longer time to get the final kill, and more vantage points. But, I did good on my first try. Got at least 2 score streaks! The load out system is better than Black Ops 2. You get to carry more stuff in your class. I know that a lot of you moaned and complained about only being able to equip 10 things to your class(Wasn’t that big deal for me). So, you get to have more freedom on this go around. Also, you have a wide range of perks then the last one(I never played MW3 online).
All-in-all, this game is good. I’m loving everything that this game is about. Can’t wait to finish the story, so I can invest all my time in the MP mode!
