*Camera man pans to the three journalists on the couch*
*There’s the director giving count*
*Now it’s live*
Joe Storm: Welcome all to the first edition of the Mock Reporters Report. My name is Joe Storm. This episode will be the introduction to the Mock Reports Report show. In this episode, we will discuss the show concept, and some future updates. Before I get carried away with myself, I want to introduce my two colleagues that will be reporting with me. They are Dave Rysling and Jennifer Lacing.
*Camera pans to see the other two*
Dave Rysling: Thanks Joe, hey everybody.
Jennifer Lacing: Thanks for the introduction, Joe.
Joe: Yes. Well, we will be discussing various topics on the show that our producers brought up or what the audience want. One show may have us talking about video games, another about movies, TV shows in-between and what ever on the side.
Jennifer: *laughs* You’re just a regular joker.
Joe: *smiles* Why yes, I am. Haha, but getting back to the point. We will be discussing anything in the entertainment business. Dave, tell them what we have in store for them.
Dave: Okay. The next episode will be discussing if DLC is ruining video games, and we will also be doing various reviews. Our first review will be Grand Theft Auto V. As matter of fact, GTA V won the Game of the Year award. It has also set some records, like making a billion in three days.
Jennifer: Don’t mean to interrupt, but I’m surprised by that. I figured that the Last of Us was going to win that award.
Joe: Honestly, there’s 500 magazines that will have a game that will be their “Game of the Year” award. And every fan will have a game war in saying which game is the true “Game of the Year.”
Dave: yeah, that is true.
Joe: *Still laughing* Well, yes. That’s life. Those are just some of the next topics, but I want to discuss the format of the show. Nearly all of the episodes, we will have a audience member ask questions and we will answer them. And after every show, we will talk about what will be discuss about on the next episode and what to watch out for in games, movies and TV. That’s probably all the info I have for the first episode. What you think guys?
Jennifer: Yes, more than enough. I think this will be the main show to watch to get information.
Dave: Jen, you are right about that. We will give enough information to the world in this new type of format.
Joe: That is right. We will be discussing things that everyone wants to talk about. Well, that’s all that we had in board to talk about on this episode. Enjoy gaming, and this is the Mock Reporters Report signing off.
*Lights go off and show is off-air*
There goes my first edition of MRR. I don’t know if every post will be in this format, because there are some drawbacks to this method. If I do a lot of these posts, I might as well create another blog. If I ever do a video version of this, which is not promised, that may vary well happen. I may even create a website out of it. But, lets not get to head of ourselves.
What do you think about this? Is one topic per episode cool? Or should I do multiple topics per show? Do you even like this format? Post here, and tell me your opinion on this.
